UPDATE 10/31/07

Happy Halloween!  It has been awhile since our last update and lots of good things have happened!  HI SCOTT! Ang flew to Chicago to surprise Michele on her 30th, it was a family affair!

Shelby came to visit and did "Trading Spaces." New curtains, paint, etc was picked out and done on the condo, it looks AWESOME!  Thanks so much BFF!!  She also mocked up an invitation that is amazing and Ang is going to fly up to Peoria in January to assemble them!  The centerpieces are coming together as well. We did manage to start a few registries online at BB&B, Macys, and Crate & Barrel, but we haven't worked on them much! Check our progress here.

Larry and Diane came to visit last weekend and met Swift and Ansley.  It was a great weekend and the new tv is on the wall.  Electronic Monopoly is awesome!  Diane found a great dress for the wedding, as well!  Oh yea, GO DAWGS, nice to finally beat FL.

Bear turned one yesterday.  It is hard to believe it has almost been a year since we got him.  Here is a recent picture of him.

All and all, things are great.  Cale is recovering nicely from having his appendix out.  We are just watching football and enjoying the fall.

UPDATE 9/03/2007

We went to our last wedding for the year at the end of August.  Our friends Sanjeev and Jasmina tied the knot in style at Shedd Aquarium in downtown Chicago. Between the fireworks and the dolphins swimming behind them during the ceremony, it was one of the nicest weddings we have ever been to!

We had a flurry of wedding planning this past week!  We booked the cake and the flowers.  A local bakery, www.metrobakery.com, let us try out some of their awesome cakes and we were sold.  It will be three tiers, two chocolate and one red velvet with cream cheese frosting.  Here is a picture that we used to create our design.

Ang also had a great meeting with Julie of www.uniquefloralexpressions.com.  She came highly recommended by our friend Rebecca and with great reason!  Check out her sight, all her flowers are beautiful.  The bridesmaids will have bouquets of different colored tulips and the rest will have to be a surprise!

The save the dates went out and hopefully everyone is enjoying our "mugs" on your refrigerator every time you open it!

Shelby (Ang's BFF and Bridesmaid) comes to visit in October and they are going to work on invitations and centerpieces for the reception.

UPDATE 8/15/07

Lots of things happening since we last posted an update!  Ang's brother, Dan, got married in FL to Jes on 7/7/07 and they had a reception in IL at the end of July.  It was a great time, lots of family, lots of friends, and lots of drinking!

We confirmed our honeymoon and we are so excited. We are going on an 11 day cruise of the Tahitian and Hawaiian Islands on Princess Cruise Lines.  We completed our Precana class last Saturday (a marriage counseling type course that the Catholic church requires). It was actually a good time and hopefully we practice the things we learned.

Cale had his big 3-0 yesterday.  We celebrated on August 4th by having an AWESOME 80s bash.  It was a great time.  Click here for a look at some pictures!

Cale also finished up his Spanish, so he is now an official Georgia graduate. WOOOHOOO!!

We ordered our save the dates some time ago, but we were unhappy with how they turned out, so we returned them and tried again. Professional photos this time! (Sorry JC). We will be sending them out very soon! See our favorites engagement photos here.

UPDATE 6/11/07

We just got back from Chicago, what a great time!  Ang's college friend, Heather, was married Saturday to her college sweetheart, Mark.  It was an amazing wedding and a Bradley Reunion!  They did a great job with all the details and they deserve to be in Hawaii relaxing!

As for our wedding update, most of the big things are handled.  We have our photographer and DJ lined up.  Ang has her dress and when the bridesmaid dresses are finalized, we will pick a florist. The girls will be wearing a sage green. Her sister Michele is the maid of honor, and her attendants are Jennifer Gravenstein, Shelby Johnson and Jennifer Caruso.

We ordered our save the dates after taking some fun pictures this weekend (thanks JC).  We will probably be sending them out sooner than recommended so people can begin their travel plans.

Everything is moving along smoothly. Once the big things were taken care of (church, reception and guest list), the rest is falling into place.  We have a tentative itinerary for the honeymoon.....Bora Bora is in our future (part of the Tahitian Islands/South Pacific).  I can envision an over water bungalow with an amazing view of the clear blue water!

Last but not least, our baby bulldog has reached 60 lbs! He's a monster and we both love him dearly.

UPDATE 1/05/08

Happy New Year!!  We can't believe it is 2008 already!  Where did last year go?  We are almost under 100 days until the wedding, WOW!

The holidays were great, we spent them with Ang's family in Marco Island, FL. Eating, boating, movies and some more eating sums it up.  We then were home for a few days before we headed out to Las Vegas to ring in the New Year right!  We brought in the new year watching fireworks on the strip with 400,000 of our closest friends!  Unfortunately we did not win enough money to pay for this wedding :(

We were productive last weekend, though. The wedding bands are bought, the registry is complete at BB&B, and the tuxes are picked out.  Ang goes to Peoria in two weeks to make invitations with the girls so be looking for yours by the end of this month.  The dress came in at the beginning of December and Ang is very excited about how it turned out!

The Bachelorette Party/Bridal Shower is set for the last weekend in March in Chicago....let the fun stuff begin!  We only have small details left for the wedding and we can't wait to share it with everyone!!

BIG NEWS

We finally picked the place and put down our deposit. We will be hosting our reception @ The Pavillion in Dunwoody, GA. Ang and I both loved the feel and all of the perks that we were offered during their presentation. It sounds like a very professional and well run organization. Check out the web site The Pavillion .There are not many pictures of the Dunwoody facility on the site, so when we go for the tasting in a couple of months, we will post some pics.

Incidentally, this also officially sets our date for April 12, 2008.

More to come soon.....look out for Paris pics, church locations, and more pics of Baby Bear.

UPDATE 4/18/07

As you can see there have been a few changes to the site. The biggest change was adding 7 days to our countdown above.

During our consultation with Deacon Bill at Holy Spirit, we were informed that our original date was already taken. Rather than try to just make things work, we moved our date back 7 days to 4/19/2008.

Thankfully, James with Everything Wedding and Faith at the Pavillion were both able to accommodate our change. All of the major players are in agreement, so there should be no further changes to the time table.

In other news, our Official Hotel has been booked. You can view other information about it here. I am encouraging everyone who is attending the reception to book a room. The hotel is very close and the rate is very inexpensive compared to the cost of driving intoxicated. We are working on a shuttle service between the hotel and the reception so that everyone can enjoy the evening safely.

UPDATE 3/7/2007

I am super excited about our up coming trip to Paris!!! We had so much fun there last year. Even though we can only stay for a weekend, it should be an experience to remember. Watch for pics when we return.

I just finished the Atlanta map in the map section. Just for fun I pointed out some of my favorite places that we are looking at for our reception. Take a look....

UPDATE 3/10/2007

Today we checked out a few venues with James from Everything Wedding. Now we are totally stuck, so many great places and so many that we thought we would love just fell flat. We are narrowing down a short list though and we should book in the next couple of weeks.
